Redina Tyler - Insurance and Billing/Office Coordinator: Redina is a Certified Insurance and Billing specialist and has over seven years experience in billing and coding. She can assist you with all claims questions. Redina also serves as Dr. Quarles office coordinator and handles various aspects of his practice such as employee payroll and office administration.

Carol Rood - Medical Assistant/Skin Care Specialist: Carol has a diverse background as a medical assistant, as well as having twenty years experience as a U.S. Navy Corpsman. She is also one of our skin care specialists and is skilled with cosmetic procedures and products. Carol performs facials and is well versed in rejuvenation products.

Blondie Franklin - Medical Assistant: Blondie serves as a medical assistant and has worked not only in dermatology, but has a background in pediatric, OB-GYN, and urgent care settings. She can answer questions about prescribed medication and relay certain medical advice to our established patients. She has a caring personality and will take excellent care of you.

Alexia McCarter - Check Out/Asst. Office Coordinator: Alexia handles the front office checkout in our Virginia Beach Office and will gladly schedule your return appointment to the office. She holds a B.S. degree in Business Marketing from Virginia State University and serves as the assistant office coordinator for Dr. Quarles. Alexia handles various advertisements, promotional activities, as well as accounts payable.

Elaine Ford - Front Office Check In: Elaine has worked in various medical office settings such as OB-GYN and dermatology for more than ten years. She handles check in and will schedule your initial appointment, verify your insurance, and check your referral. Elaine will ensure that your first impression to the office is a pleasant experience.

Della Melton- Front Office Check Out: Della has a very diverse background in the medical field. She has worked in cardiovascular and dermatology settings for more than eight years. Not only will she schedule your return appointment to the office, she will also make sure your referral is valid. Della also assists with medical billing and has an extensive product knowledge that allows her to recommend skin care products to patients.

Peggy Smith – Front Office Check In/Hampton: Peggy Smith serves as the front office check-in coordinator for our Hampton office. Peggy will verify your insurance and provide you with pertinent information, which must be completed in order to become a patient. She has a diverse background as an Army Medical Corpsman and has also worked in a Urology practice where she scheduled important surgeries for patients for over 15 years. When you enter our Hampton location, Peggy will greet you with her caring personality and ensure that your first impression of Quarles Dermatology is a pleasant experience.

Deiondreax Johnson – Medical Assistant/Hampton: Deiondreax serves as a primary medical assistant in our Hampton office. Before working in dermatology, she has worked in a primary care physician office and also has a background as a skilled private home caregiver. Deiondreax is devoted to assisting the doctor to make sure patients receive the proper care. If you have questions concerning your treatment and/or medication, she will be more than happy to assist you.
